Threadlocker 1270
GENERAL INFORMATION: SUR-LOK anaerobic
adhesive/sealants are a specialized series of single component, solvent free
compounds that are individually formulated for locking, sealing, retaining and
bonding metal parts and assemblies.
Stable in the presence of air, these products cure when placed between two
mating metal parts, forming a resilient, vibration-proof, polymer shim.
SUR-LOK adhesive/sealants provide the user with additional performance
characteristics, including resistance to corrosion or galvanic attack, as well
as solvent resistance; while allowing disassembly with normal tools.
| PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: SUR-LOK 1270
Studlock grade was developed for the highest strength
threadlocking applications. This product has medium viscosity and
satisfies many applications requirements where fasteners of less than
1/2 inch diameter or applications with relatively small gap are
involved. Selection of this product for such parts assures the highest
threadlocking strength available. |
